From My Hands to Your Table

is more than a photography project —

it’s a quiet act of recognition.

Through each photo, hands that harvest,

clean, sort, and serve are brought into focus —

not as symbols, but as stories.

These are the hands of mothers, fathers,

grandmothers and grandfathers, of neighbors

and newcomers, of the people whose labor harvests

the Valleys healthiest foods, yet whose presence

often goes unseen, unheard and unappreciated.

This photography project captures the

intimacy of farm labor work —

calloused fingers gripping fruit, swollen joints,

worn out palms beneath the weight of the tools they use,

and faces covered seeking solace from the

brutal and unforgiving sun.

It honors the quiet dignity of our

immigrant,

undocumented

and working-class

laborers who rarely get to tell

their side of the story, let alone be centered in it.

At a time when immigration policies shift like sand

and legal protections remain fragile,

these photos bear witness to something constant —

the labor, love, and sacrifice

that move from field to table.
