CalFresh, California’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), helps eligible individuals and families purchase healthy food and stretch their monthly grocery budget. Benefits are provided through an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card that can be used at most grocery stores, farmers markets, and participating food retailers.

Food Para Todos is a community-driven food recovery program dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting hunger throughout Merced County. By collecting surplus, high-quality food from local businesses, farms, and organizations, the program helps ensure that nutritious food reaches individuals and families who need it instead of ending up in landfills.
