CA OCPSC Trusted Messenger
Cultiva Central Valley (CCV) is a Trusted Messenger for California Governors Office of Communication and Strategic Partnerships (OCPSC). Throughout 2021-2025 CCV staff connected with over 50,000 residents throughout California’s Central Valley, with a primary focus on Merced County. In collaboration with over 40 organizations throughout California, Cultiva provided unified messaging campaigns including Save Our Water, Extreme Heat, ITIN, and mental health programs such as Brightlife Kids and Soluna. These efforts include direct community outreach at high-traffic events, social media, news appearances, and sms/email campaigns.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) for their generous support of our community outreach efforts. Through this vital partnership, Cultiva Central Valley has empowered Merced residents—especially youth and immigrant farmworker families—with critical education on the dangers of extreme heat, water conservation, Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN), and mental health awareness. OCPSC’s investment in trusted messengers and culturally responsive engagement has helped us reach tens of thousands of residents with life-saving information, building a healthier, more informed, and resilient Merced County.
