Partner & Volunteer Opportunities 🧟♂️
The Merced Zombie Ride wouldn’t be possible without the support of our amazing community partners, organizations, volunteers, and sponsors! There are several ways to get involved, whether you want to share resources with families, host a station along the bike trail, volunteer behind the scenes, or help bring the spooky fun to life.
Choose the role that works best for you or your organization:
Table/Booth
Set up a table at the main Zombie Ride event and connect directly with local families and community members. This is a great opportunity to share information about your organization, promote programs and services, distribute resources, and participate in the fun.
Partners should plan to bring their own promotional materials, banners or signage, and other items they would like to share with participants. Interactive activities and healthy trick-or-treat items for children are also encouraged.
Great for: Community organizations, nonprofits, agencies, health providers, educational programs, businesses, and other groups that want to connect with Merced County residents.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Trail Zombies: Bring the Zombie Ride theme to life along the route and create a fun, spooky experience for riders. Costumes or zombie face paint are encouraged.
Registration & Welcome: Check in participants, welcome families, and help support the registration area.
Decorating: Help transform the event space with Zombie Ride and Halloween-themed decorations.
Event Activity Assistance: Support activities in the main event area and help keep things moving throughout the day.
Food Distribution: Help distribute food and refreshments to participants and volunteers.
Setup & Cleanup: Help prepare the event space before activities begin and assist with cleanup afterward.
Whether you've volunteered at the Zombie Ride before
or this is your first year, there is a place for you to help!
🎃 Spooky Sponsors & Donations
Organizations, businesses, and community members can also support the Zombie Ride through sponsorships or donations. Contributions help make this family-friendly community event possible while supporting an event centered on healthy living, community connection, and access to local resources.
Spooky Sponsors can receive recognition during the event, including logo visibility and public appreciation for their support. Partner materials also clarify that a donation is not required for organizations participating with a table or booth.
